What We Collect

Email addressAuth system

Required for magic-link authentication. Stored by our auth provider.

Connected league IDsDatabase, locked to your account

Stored only when you explicitly connect a league. We read from the platform's public API – we never store your platform password.

Watchlist & saved viewsDatabase, locked to your account

Player IDs you star and filter presets you save.

Reels & saved playsDatabase, your choice of visibility

Clips you create. Public reels are visible to all users; private reels are locked to your account only.

Anonymous product analyticsThird-party analytics provider

Page views, button clicks, and error reports sent to our analytics provider. No personally identifiable information is included beyond a hashed user ID.

What We Don't Collect

–Payment card numbers – Stripe processes all card data; we only receive a customer reference and subscription status.
–Browsing history or activity outside Blindside Alpha.
–Contacts, calendar data, location, or device sensors.
–Anything from third-party platforms beyond what their public API exposes.
–Any data from users under 13 – this platform is not directed at children.

Third-Party Services

Blindside Alpha uses the following categories of third-party services to operate:

Auth providerHandles magic-link email delivery and session tokens. Your email address is stored here.

Database providerStores watchlists, league connections, and reels. Row-level security ensures your data is only accessible by your account.

Analytics providerReceives anonymized page-view and interaction events to help us understand product usage. No PII is transmitted.

Error monitoringCaptures application errors and performance issues. Stack traces and context are logged, but no user content is included.

We do not sell, lease, or share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Cookies & Sessions

We use session cookies to keep you signed in between visits. Our analytics provider sets a persistence cookie to track anonymous sessions across page loads. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of Blindside Alpha.

Your Rights

Delete your accountEmail support@blindsidealpha.com. We will delete all personal data within 7 days.

Export your dataRequest an export at the same email address. We'll prepare a JSON file of your watchlist, saved plays, and league connections within 7 days.

Disconnect a leagueSettings → Connected Leagues → Disconnect. This removes the league ID from our database immediately.

Opt out of analyticsEmail us and we will exclude your hashed user ID from all analytics processing.

Data Retention

Active account data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, personal data is wiped within 7 days. Anonymized analytics data (no user identifiers) may be retained longer for product analysis.

Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be announced via a banner on the home page at least 14 days before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
